Hi, I’m Xanthe

HEY! Thanks for being here. I'm Xanthe (Pronounced Zan-thee), and I've never found anything with my name on it in a gift shop. Thanks mum and dad.

I am an award winning wedding photographer based near Bristol, covering weddings across the whole of the UK. Over the years, I have developed my signature style which allows me to come to every wedding, confident and full of creativity.

My wedding photography style is warm, atmospheric, and relaxed with no bossing about. My aim is to photograph your day as naturally as possible whilst blending in with your guests and having a laugh along the way.

You wont be dragged away from your friends and family for hours for awkward cheesy poses. The belly laughs are where it’s at! However, it is important to get those wow shots, so if we get a fab sunset, you bet you’ll see me running (or at least a fast walk) towards you for some gorgeous golden hour portraits. OR if the wet stuff happens to make an appearance on the day, I’m the girl that will grab a brolly and get stuck in.

She is incredibly friendly and caring, and has the natural ability to make you feel at ease and prepared from the moment you book her to long after your wedding. She listens to everything you ask of her, is highly accommodating and ensures she keeps you well informed. My bridal party and the grooms party loved having her around and didn’t feel awkward at all with the photos as Xanthe goes for lots of natural shots (which is exactly what we wanted). Our family and friends also commented on how lovely she is! So many of our friends and family have commented how brilliant you were and how you really felt like part of our day. Sam's dad was particularly full of praise for you and the way you blended in completely unobtrusively. People have said again and again how no one ever felt like they were having their picture taken, or felt awkward in front of the camera as some of us can. Our formal shots and sparklers didn't feel like 'photo opportunities' or a task to get out of the way but rather a pleasant and enjoyable part of our day.

Before the wedding planning, Sam and I were dreading having 'couple' photos taken to be honest, as the stereotypical ones are just so not us - particularly in front of a camera! But we can both truly say that we really enjoyed that time together after our wedding and - in the nicest possible way - it didn't feel like you were there at all! But what you did give us, with your gentle direction and amazing ideas, was a set of photos that feel so 'us' and in which you've captured how happy we were in that moment. We absolutely love the whole wedding album.
